Rookie K-pop girl group MEOVV is turning heads with their latest single “HANDS UP,” released on April 28 as a pre-release track ahead of their debut EP My Eyes Open VVIDE, which is set to drop on May 12, 2025.
The five-member group—Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella—is managed by THEBLACKLABEL, the label known for producing BLACKPINK. MEOVV is already being noticed for their bold style and strong stage presence.
“HANDS UP” is a fun, high-energy track inspired by Brazilian funk, and it shows a brighter side of the group compared to their earlier teasers. The song was co-produced by Teddy Park, along with producers 24 and Dominsuk, all of whom have worked on major K-pop hits before.
Fans and music writers have praised the song for its catchy beat and confident lyrics. It marks a fresh step for MEOVV, who are aiming to bring a mix of global sound and youth-driven energy to K-pop.
With their debut EP just around the corner, MEOVV is expected to become one of the standout new groups of the year.
