J-Hope Celebrates BTS’ 12th Anniversary with New Single ‘Killin’ It Girl’

J-Hope of BTS is gearing up to release his new solo single, “Killin’ It Girl”, featuring American rapper GloRilla, on June 13, 2025, in celebration of BTS’s 12th debut anniversary.

Announced by BigHit Music, this hip-hop track is the third release in J-Hope’s “Charm of HOPE” solo project, following his March 2025 singles “Sweet Dreams” (featuring Miguel) and “Mona Lisa”. The song is described as an energetic anthem capturing the rush of falling in love at first sight, blending J-Hope’s signature rhythmic flow with a powerful beat.

The single will make its live debut during the finale of J-Hope’s solo world tour, “Hope on the Stage”, at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, on June 13 and 14.

These concerts, aligning with BTS’s anniversary, will be available to global fans via livestream, promising an explosive performance showcasing J-Hope’s renowned dance and stage presence.

BigHit Music has shared concept photos and a music video teaser on BTS’s official YouTube (@BTS) and Weverse, building anticipation for the release. Pre-orders for “Killin’ It Girl” are available on Weverse Shop in multiple versions, including a set with “Sweet Dreams” and “Mona Lisa”.

This release is a key part of BTS’s 2025 FESTA, an annual event celebrating their debut, themed ‘Twelve O’Clock’—a nod to their song “00:00 (Zero O’Clock)”, symbolizing new beginnings with ARMY.

The FESTA, led by J-Hope and Jin, kicks off June 2 with concept photos, behind-the-scenes content, and an Anchor Battle on June 7, culminating in the anniversary on June 13.

With most BTS members completing their military service by June 11 (except Suga, expected by June 21), fans are buzzing about a potential group reunion during the festivities, though BigHit Music has not confirmed this.

J-Hope’s solo career has been a standout, with his 2018 mixtape Hope World peaking at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 and his 2019 single “Chicken Noodle Soup” (with Becky G) marking him as the first BTS member to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as a soloist.

His 2022 album Jack in the Box further cemented his global influence. Teaming up with GloRilla, whose 2024 album “Glorious” hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200, “Killin’ It Girl” is poised to be a dynamic collaboration, blending J-Hope’s vibrant style with her bold energy.

As BTS celebrates 12 years, “Killin’ It Girl” serves as both a gift to ARMY and a testament to J-Hope’s evolving artistry.

Fans can stay updated via BTS’s official channels (@BTS_official on X, Weverse, and YouTube) for more on the FESTA and J-Hope’s latest milestone.
