YG Entertainment has officially kicked off promotions for its next girl group following the global success of BLACKPINK and BABYMONSTER.

The agency unveiled the first trainee, EVELLI, drawing strong interest from fans around the world.

On May 28, YG posted a performance video titled “YG NEXT MONSTER | EVELLI – ‘Nosebleeds’” on its official blog.

Capturing a real monthly evaluation session, the video introduces 15-year-old EVELLI, a trainee from Australia, as the first member to step into the spotlight. Performing Doechii’s “Nosebleeds”, she showcased a unique interpretation rooted in YG’s signature hip-hop identity.

From the moment the music began, her charming visuals contrasted with a deep, husky voice that immediately captured attention.

EVELLI’s confident delivery, rhythmic control, and dynamic flow changes demonstrated impressive musical versatility far beyond her age.

Despite being only 15, her stage presence was polished and commanding.
Her bold attitude, stylish gestures, and expressive performance conveyed a genuine hip-hop swagger, keeping viewers fully engaged.

In addition to her vocal and rap abilities, she’s proving to be an emerging all-rounder, fluent in Korean, English, and Spanish.

YG has previously confirmed the upcoming girl group will consist of four members, with each one being introduced sequentially.

Given the legacy of BLACKPINK and the rising power of BABYMONSTER, fans have high hopes for this new team.

YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk personally commented, encouraging viewers to “judge exactly as you see and hear,” underscoring his confidence in the trainees’ individual talents.
With EVELLI making a strong first impression, anticipation for the remaining members is quickly building.
